Store to help ex-offenders find jobs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A new clothing store in Fort Wayne will help people coming out of prison get job training and find work.

Blue Jacket Clothing Co. opened Friday. WANE-TV reports ( ) it sells gently used clothing and accessories for men and women.

Executive director Tony Hudson says the store will serve as a resource for those who have been released from prison and are hard to employ.

Blue Jacket Inc. was created in 2003 to provide adult ex-offenders the tools and opportunities to become productive members of society.

Hudson says the store welcomes donations of gently used professional clothing.
