A driver who tried to flee from Indiana State Police during a traffic stop, crashed and ended up in the hospital Saturday morning.

It happened about 1:12 a.m. when an Indiana State Police trooper attempted to pull a vehicle over for a traffic stop.   Instead of pulling over, the driver decided to flee.  Almost as soon as soon as the pursuit started, it ended though, when the driver crashed.

The man failed to negotiate a curve at the 110 mile marker on I-65 at the south split and went off the road.  He was taken to Wishard Hospital with minor injuries.

Officials didn't have any details yet on the charges the driver might face.
