SPOILER ALERT: results in for men's Olympic skeleton

Success on the ice Friday for two US men's sliders at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

Two American sliders, John Daly and Matt Antoine, are within striking distance of winning a medal in men's Olympic skeleton.

Daly is in third place while Antoine is in fourth.

Russia's Alexander Tretiakov has a large lead over Latvia's Martins Dukurs after the first two runs.

The bronze medalist four years ago in Vancouver, Tretiakov powered down his home track in 1 minute, 51.99 seconds on Friday at the Sochi Games.

He has a 0.56-second lead over Dukurs, the defending silver medalist who has won six of eight races on the World Cup circuit this season.

He entered the games expected to win his country's first gold in the Winter Olympics.
