South Bend double shooting suspect arrested in Indianapolis

A man wanted for a home invasion and double shooting in South Bend on Monday was found and arrested Saturday in Indianapolis.

IMPD crowd control officers saw 22-year-old Deloren Wilson walking downtown Saturday night while on patrols surrounding the Indiana Black Expo. They soon discovered he was wanted for allegedly shooting two people in the torso around 8:00 Monday night in South Bend. At last check, both victims were both conscious and alert, according to our NBC affiliate, WNDU.

Wilson reportedly had a gun on him when police found him in Indianapolis. Officers had to taze Wilson to subdue him, but he did not require medical treatment, according to IMPD.

In addition to his charges out of South Bend, Wilson will face Indianapolis charges of resisting arrest.
