Soggy Friday night ahead
If you have Friday night plans, you will need to work around some rain.
There is some good news for outdoor activities like Operation Football (there are lots of high school football games tonight).
Most of the lightning-producing storms are moving out of central Indiana, but take the rain gear with you to those high school football games.
Temperatures will be in the 70s. The steadiest rain will end later this evening.
A cold front is triggering the rain and storms and there is chilly air on the way for the weekend. Overnight temperatures will fall into the middle and upper 50s, as the rain ends.
Forecast highs are only in the upper 60s and lower 70s on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a couple of crisp mornings, as lows are forecast in the 40s on Sunday and Monday.
There will be a feeling of fall in the air this weekend. Fall officially begins on Sunday at 4:44pm.
