Snow chances for central Indiana Monday night
A line of rain and snow is now moving into northern Indiana and northern Illinois. We are getting reports of snow in Chicago now.
Our snow chances are in the forecast from 7pm to 4am. The change from rain to snow will happen in Lafayette around 7pm; Indianapolis around 10pm and Bloomington around midnight.
We are expecting around an inch of snow. Watch for some slick roads overnight and on Tuesday.
Tuesday will be windy and colder, with lows in the 20s and highs only in the 30s. Lake effect snow will mean some higher totals north.
Some of those lake effect snow bands may come as far south as Lafayette, Kokomo, Marion and Muncie. We will keep a few flurries in the forecast for Tuesday and some of those lake effect snow bands north.
