Small fire closes airport restaurant
A small fire caused damage at Indianapolis International Airport late Saturday night.
Airport officials say a fire in a refrigeration unit at Champps on Concourse B was extinguished by the airport's fire suppression system and firefighters. The restaurant sustained smoke, fire and water damage.
There was also water damage to Camden Food, which sits adjacent to Champps.
An airport spokesman said it is unlikely that Champps will be able to open on Sunday.
Flight and other operations of Concourse B were not affected by the fire.
