Skies will clear, temps will drop overnight
What a change. It was near 70 degrees on Tuesday and we had snow on Wednesday. There will be lingering flurries and light snow possible Wednesday evening.
Skies will start to clear overnight and temperatures will fall fast. Forecast lows are in the range of 10-15 degrees. There might be a few places north of Indianapolis, where there is more snow on the ground in the single digits early Thursday.
Sunshine will give way to a few clouds on Thursday. Highs will be in the 30s for most of central Indiana. These numbers are about 15-20 degrees colder than average.
Temperatures are forecast back in the 50s on Friday and Saturday, with a mix of clouds and sun. Some of our latest analysis indicates a weak weather system moving across the area later Friday and early Saturday.
Right now we have the forecast dry. There is another system to watch for the end of the weekend too, but right it looks like it may stay to our south. We will keep you updated on any and all changes.
Sunday and Monday will be cooler days, with highs in the 30s. More 50 degree warmth is on the way for the middle part of next week.
