Showers arrive this evening


An area of low pressure is moving in from the Plains States this evening. Showers will be likely with a few isolated thunderstorms possible. Pockets of heavy rain will be possible too, mainly in north central Indiana.

A few light showers will linger into Sunday morning with temperatures falling into the low 60s.

Rain will clear out from west to east by early afternoon. A few spotty showers will be possible Sunday afternoon but a slow clearing of the clouds will take place. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 70s with cooler breezes out of the northeast.

Monday will start out sunny with temperatures climbing to near 80 degrees. By Monday evening, showers and thunderstorms will be possible.

An unsettled pattern takes over by Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely through Wednesday. It will be more humid too with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Summer-like temperatures return on Thursday through Saturday, with highs in the mid 80s.
