Several injured in Shelby County house fire

Four people were injured in a house fire in Shelby County Tuesday evening.

It happened at 1100 West and 600 North just before 8:00 pm.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, all of the residents were out of the home. One person was taken by LifeLine helicopter to Methodist Hospital, and the other three were taken by ambulance to Methodist.

The extent of the injuries is unknown, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
