Security tightened as Pacers focus on basketball
The Indiana Pacers got back to basketball Wednesday.
It just wasn't business as usual two days after the bombing at the Boston Marathon.
After spending Monday night in Boston and having Tuesday's game with the Celtics canceled, the Pacers returned home to increased security.
Vehicles trying to park underneath Bankers Life Fieldhouse were stopped outside. Some drivers had to open their trunks. Others had to wait for security to look underneath the vehicles with a flashlight and mirror.
Inside, the Pacers home arena, there were more security guards near the floor and bags were being checked more closely as people walked in.
