Second alarm called to fight southeast Indianapolis fire

A second alarm has been requested for a building fire on the Indianapolis southeast side.

It's happening at an oil filter recycling plant located at Randolph and Lawton. Heavy smoke was coming from the building when firefighters arrived and could be seen across the city.

The nearest major intersection is Keystone and Raymond.

The call came in a little before 11:00 am. Workers managed to get out safely. By 11:30 am, the building was starting to collapse.

The building fire is in a warehouse that stores old oil filters. It also stores propane tanks.

No injuries have been reported.
