Scattered isolated storms have been popping up this afternoon. Lightning and some heavy downpours have been the main ingredients of these storms.

Here is a look at some of the rain totals from our WeatherBug Network:

Temperatures will be running a few degrees below the normal of 85 degrees today.

Thunderstorms will continue into the evening, tapering off around sunset. It will stay warm and muggy tonight with temperatures only falling into the low 70s.

More thunderstorms are likely Sunday with breezy winds out of the southwest. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid 80s.

The Fishers Freedom Festival is going on this weekend and the Parade is on Sunday at 4pm. Scott Swan and I will be attending the parade. Just remember to bring your rain gear, as afternoon thunderstorms are possible.

More heat and more humidity arrives on Monday. We are tracking the first 90 degree day of 2014. On average, the month of June has three 90+ degree days recorded. Annually, Indianapolis records around 18 days with 90+ degree days.

A strong cold front arrives Monday night, bringing the chance of some strong to severe storms.

By Wednesday, cooler and drier air pushes in behind the cold front.

Right now, the Fourth of July looks fantastic!
