Scattered thunderstorms and warm temperatures today

We're waiting on a front to move in and out of Indiana, but we'll be waiting a while. Scattered thunderstorms are around the area this morning ahead of the front and in the middle of an unstable atmosphere. If you are headed to the Indiana State Fair, or even sending the kids out to school, pack along an umbrella or poncho.

This front, and where it moves will change little the next several days. It does creep southward the next 24 hours, and along with daytime heating puts widely scattered showers and storms in play for all of us today.

Computer models disagree on how quickly the front moves south. It could be a couple days before it moves out of the realm of influence, so we'll call for at least a chance of thunderstorms into Thursday night.
