Scattered storms and 90 degree heat
We have already had another round of rain and storms. This round on Wednesday afternoon was mainly across the southern half of the state. This latest complex of storms will move east Wednesday evening and there will be just a chance for a storm Wednesday night.
It will be warm and humid overnight with lows in the range of 65-70 degrees. Similar to the last several nights, patchy fog is possible. Some of that fog will reduce visibilities through early Thursday morning.
Keep the umbrella handy for Thursday and Friday. There will be scattered showers and storms both days, with highs in the range of 85-90 degrees. Here is the timing of storm chances through Friday with FutureTrak13. Keep in mind, there will be some adjustments to the timing as we get new information on our unsettled weather pattern.
Our best chance for our first 90 degree days of the season arrives this weekend. We have 90 degrees in the forecast on Friday, but if we get storms we may miss it. We have 92 degrees in the forecast for Saturday through Monday. It will be a hot and humid stretch of weather.
