In a brazen act of thievery--security cameras caught a woman taking down a painting worth about $500 from a restaurant wall and then stuffing it up the back of her shirt.

The painting was designed by a local artist in Cranston, Rhode Island, and was hanging on the wall during an event at the restaurant attended by hundreds of customers.

Restaurant owner, Vincent Dinofrio, first thought the painting had fallen when he noticed it was missing. Their security camera footage showed otherwise.

Dinofrio is hoping that anyone who sees the video will recognize the woman who took the painting and is offering a $100-dollar reward to anyone who can help them identify the thief.
