It was a gorgeous fall-like day across central Indiana with highs in the low 70s, running more than 5 degrees below average.

It will be cool and clear overnight.

Clouds will increase on Monday as Irma starts to make a northerly track. It will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy by afternoon with highs in the mid 70s.

The remnants of Irma will move into the Ohio River Valley on Tuesday.

This will cause the winds to pick up out of the northeast from 15-25 mph. Showers will be possible Tuesday, with better chances in southern and east central Indiana. It will be a cool day with highs in the upper 60s.

Shower chances will increase on Wednesday as the system starts to move off to the northeast. Afternoon highs will be in the low 70s.

A warmer and pleasant, dry pattern returns Thursday on into the weekend. In fact, temperatures should get back to near normal by Friday, with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
