Purdue Police investigate overnight assault on campus

Purdue Police have issued the first campus alert of the new school year after a male student said he was assaulted by two other men early Friday morning.

The assailants are described as two white males, one in a dark shirt, one in a white shirt, possibly carrying a knife.

The alleged attack occurred in the Class of 1950 building at approximately 3:30 a.m.

The victim suffered superficial wounds, according to police.
