Public hearing on new justice center set for Monday
The public is invited to give their feedback Monday on a proposal to build a new Justice Center in Indianapolis.
A town hall meeting is set for 6:00 p.m. at the City-County building downtown.
At community meetings last week, some people expressed concern about the location for the justice center. Proposed sites include the old airport or at the old GM plant.
The justice center would include a jail, criminal courts, probation and the prosecutors office.
City officials said the facility could make a $100 million economic impact.
