There's no bigger, more life-changing moment than welcoming a child into the world. St.Vincent Health looks after all the little things, so the birthing experience and baby's welcome are safe, warm and unique to each family.
St.Vincent offers maternity services at seven locations in central Indiana. Each location offers unique services that are tailored to the mother and baby's needs. The locations are: Saint John's Medical Center, Anderson; St.Joseph Hospital, Kokomo; St.Vincent Carmel Hospital; St.Vincent Dunn Hospital, Bedford; St.Vincent Frankfort Hospital; St.Vincent Randolph Hospital, Winchester; and St.Vincent Women's Hospital, Indianapolis.
Because our settings are intimate, delivering your baby at a St.Vincent Health facility has a family feel. Our physicians consider themselves family partners, dedicated to making the birth of your baby a wonderful experience.
Most women deliver their babies without complications. However, it's reassuring to know that St.Vincent is prepared for anything that might arise. St.Vincent has a Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) designated Level III at St.Vincent Carmel Hospital and a level IIIC at St.Vincent Women's Hospital. The NICU provides 24-hour care to newborns with special needs at delivery and beyond. The NICU is staffed with specialists devoted to care of infants and their families.
The High-Risk Obstetrical staff at St.Vincent Carmel Hospital and St.Vincent Women's Hospital specialize in helping expectant moms with various health conditions such as asthma, diabetes or the birth of multiple infants. The board-certified staff is experienced in high-risk deliveries.
