Friday is the last day for the International School of Columbus. It's closing because of financial problems.

An eleventh-hour phone call gave school leaders hope of staying open.

According to the school, the anonymous person told officials to drive to a company Noblesville where the $250,000 needed would be donated. Administrators went there, but found only an empty building.

It turned out to be a cruel hoax.
