Police seek suspect in sexual assault of 12-year-old girl

Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl.

Police say the man forced his victim into a secluded area of an alley in the 3100 block of Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue around 8 p.m. on June 19.

The man is described as a tall, thin black male in his late teens or early 20s. He has a shaved head and was wearing red basketball shorts with a white sleeveless shirt and multi-colored high-top basketball shoes.

The man is wanted on charges of rape, criminal confinement and child molestation.
