Police seek help in finding next of kin for Indianapolis man killed on I-265

Police need the public's help in finding next of kin for an Indianapolis man who was killed early this morning on I-265 in Southern Indiana.

Indiana State Police say Larry W. Peyton was hit by a semi in the westbound lanes of the interstate near State Road 62.

The driver was not injured, but 66-year-old Peyton was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the trooper who witnessed the crash, Peyton was walking in the driving lane at the time of the impact and appeared to staggering.

The Indianapolis address listed on his ID, 2502 Mars Hill Street is not accurate.
