Franklin Police have arrested two men in connection with the May 16, 2013 armed robbery at Henderson Drug Store.

Police arrested Davonte Hubbard and Devan Twitchell. Police say a third suspect, Hayden Glass, died of an overdose the day after the robbery.

Around 10:20 am, police say two men entered the drug store and displayed hand guns to the staff. They demanded prescription medication.

One of the suspects, a white male, went behind the counter of the pharmacy and demanded different medications, while the other suspect, a black male, went into a room which held medical equipment. He held the employees in this room at gunpoint.

The suspects fled out the back door to a waiting vehicle, along with an undisclosed amount of medication.

Police say the pharmacist went after them, firing his hand gun at the suspects as they made their escape in a van.

The investigation led police to the Indianapolis home of one of the suspects. Police arrested Davonte Hubbard on May 21 for armed robbery. They arrested Twitchell the next day for aiding in the armed robbery.

No injuries were reported.
