Police are looking for a driver who ran into a group of people in downtown Indianapolis then led police on a short chase.

Police say it happened at South and Meridian streets downtown. That's near the Slippery Noodle.

Officers say the car hit four people as they were crossing the street.  It happened just after midnight.

The driver then took off and led police on a chase that continued onto I-65.  Eventually the driver got away.

None of the pedestrians were seriously injured.

IMPD says they are looking for a black Chrysler 300.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
