Indianapolis Metro Police continue to investigate a shooting on the city's west side.  It happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Concord Street.

Police say the victim, a 15-year-old boy, left the scene in critical condition after being shot in the chest, but the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening once he was treated at IU Health-Riley Hospital.

The teen's father told IMPD that he and the teen had come outside of their home to address a domestic incident at a neighbor's house.  At that point, the man said two other men attacked and began beating him.

The two then stopped beating the man, and chased his son south on Concord. They confronted, then shot him.

Police have vague descriptions of the two men who chased the victim. They have identified the 17-year-old woman who is listed as the third suspect.
