Plume of smoke lingers after truck fire

Witnesses said they heard loud booms then a fire broke out at a business on the south side.

The Indianapolis Fire Department was dispatched to an address near Harding Street and Thompson Roads about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

One witness to Eyewitness News that semis or freight trucks were on fire.  He said the blaze didn't last long after fire crews arrived on the scene. A giant plume of smoke lingered after the fire.
