Pleasant weather continues Saturday, light snow possible Sunday
It was a warm and windy Friday, with temperatures near 60 degrees but winds gusting over 40mph.
Clouds are moving into central Indiana late Friday afternoon. A stray shower is possible this evening, then skies will clear overnight with lows in the 30s.
The ups and downs of our recent weather pattern will continue this weekend and over the next 7 days. Saturday will be the drier and milder day this weekend, with highs in the 50s.
Cooler air returns on Sunday, with highs in the 30s. We are tracking a developing storm system that is forecast to move just to our south on Sunday afternoon. It will be close enough for the chance for a light wintry mix or snow later Sunday.
The analysis keeps changing on this system. If it comes farther north, there will be wintry precipitation farther north across Indiana. The latest information has it a bit more south. We will watch it closely and keep you updated, but at least be prepared for that chance of a light wintry mix or light snow.
The cooler air will last into Monday, with highs in the 40s. 50s and 60s are back Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Right now there is a chance for rain later Wednesday.
