Plainfield teen takes off for around-the-world flight
A Plainfield teenager and his father are in the air for a record-breaking flight attempt.
Chopper 13 HD was alongside 17-year-old Haris Suleman as he and his father took off from Greenwood Thursday morning. Suleman is attempting to become the youngest person to fly around the world in a single-engine plane in 30 days.
Engine trouble and other issues with the aircraft delayed their departure by more than a week.
