An Indiana war veteran and paralympian got a 'congratulations' Wednesday from the governor.

"I'm overjoyed and I feel that the reason why I went to Russia was because God had a plan for me," Joel Hunt said. "Not only to help other people but to bring awareness for traumatic brain injury and people with disabilities."

Hunt served three tours in Iraq, earning both the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Hoosier Award. He competed in the Alpine Ski event in Sochi.
