Paul McCartney announces Indianapolis concert date for July 14
Paul McCartney is returning to Indianapolis in July.
McCartney's "Out There" tour will visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday, July 14. It's the first time the ex-Beatle will visit the Circle City since 2002's Back in the US Tour.
McCartney also performed in Indianapolis at Market Square Arena in 1990 and two shows with the Beatles at the Indiana State Fair in 1964.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. and may be purchased at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office and by visiting Ticketmaster.com. To charge by phone, call 800-745-3000. The concert promises three hours of songs from McCartney's storied career - including the Beatles, Wings and his solo work. He's been performing as a solo artist for 40 years, and he's played the Coliseum in Rome, Moscow's Red Square, at the White House as well as a free show in Mexico to over 400,000 people and even a performance beamed into outer space.
Band members include Paul ‘Wix' Wickens (keyboards), Rusty Anderson (guitar), Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums) and Brian Ray (bass/guitar).
