Pacers hold free pep rally Thursday


The Indiana Pacers will hold a free and open to the public pep rally ahead of Thursday night's NBA playoffs Game 6 between the Pacers and the Miami Heat.

The rally takes place in the parking lot north of Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Pennsylvania St.

The pep rally will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Game time is slated for 8:00 p.m. and the team announced doors will open one half hour earlier than usual at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a children-friendly section for kids and an adult section with beer being served.

Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy live music and entertainment, participate in games to win Pacers prizes and surprises. The Pacemates will be on hand as well as special Pacers celebrities.

Fans will have a chance to sign a huge "I Love the Pacers" banner that will later be hung outside the team's locker room.

A very limited number of tickets for Game 6 are being held for NBA Playoffs requirements. If those tickets are not utilized by the league and/or league partners, they will be released for sale to the general public as they become available. Fans should visit to check on ticket availability.
