One dead, one hurt in northeast Indianapolis shootings
Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded Thursday night.
Officers were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy at 2330 E. 46th Street around 8 p.m. Thursday on a report of a person shot. Police found a man suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the hand.
People at the scene told officers there may be another person shot three blocks away in the area of E. 46th Street and Evanston. Officers found an unidentified male in a building in the 2000 block of E. 46th Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics pronounced that man dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the first victim walked from the original scene to the CVS to get help.
