WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci as communications director, according to The New York Times, citing three people close to the decision.

The paper said the decision came at Chief of Staff John Kelly's request after Scaramucci claimed he reported directly to the president instead of the chief of staff.

Scaramucci was just named communications director 10 days ago.
