Notre Dame doesn't plan on changing styles in ACC
Notre Dame isn't planning on changing its style of play as it heads into its first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Coach Mike Brey figures the style that kept the Irish among the top teams in the Big East the past several years should do the same in the ACC. The Irish already have shown they can adjust, playing up-tempo at times or slowing down. Irish players believe they're ready for whatever the ACC brings.
Point guard Eric Atkins says the Irish are going to make opponents play at their pace.
Brey says he never thought he'd coach Notre Dame in the ACC, and the prospect of that has re-energized him.
