INDIANAPOLIS - Hundreds of shoppers turned out for the grand opening of Nordstrom Rack on the city's north side Wednesday morning.

Doors opened at 9:00 am and impatient customers rushed into the new store on 82nd Street. One person was chosen for a $2,000 shopping spree ahead of the other customers.

The Rack opened as an off-price division of Nordstrom, Inc. in 1972, in the basement of the downtown Seattle store. It offers up to 70 percent off regular prices, and also has in-store alterations and tailoring.
