No one was injured early Christmas morning when an Oldsmobile 98 struck a home at the end of a street on the Indianapolis northeast side.

It happened at the corner of Helmsdale and Brunson Run at around 4:24 am.

The couple who live in the home felt the impact when the car struck their son's bedroom. They told firefighters their son moved out two months ago, so the room was unoccupied.

The residents said they were shocked when the driver and passenger tried to flee the scene. Indianapolis Metro Police quickly had the pair in custody.

No other information is available at this time.
