No injuries in early morning Westfield fire

The Westfield Fire Department responded to a lightning strike shortly after 4:00 a.m. Tuesday in the 16000 block Oak Manor Drive.

Crews arrived and found light smoke coming from the front of the house and debris scattered in the yard and street. Firefighters say the fire was within the walls of the home.  They say they had the fire under control within 30 minutes.

The residents of the home have been displaced until repairs can be made and utilities restored.

No one was injured.  Damage to the home is estimated at $20,000.
