Nine-month-old baby charged with attempted murder in Pakistan
Pakistani authorities have accused a nine-month-old infant, along with other members of his family, of attempted murder on police personnel.
Nine-month-old Musa Khan appeared in a court in Lahore last week, formally charged by local authorities with attempted murder of police personnel.
Lahore police raided the area where he lived with his parents and grandparents several days ago looking for suspected gas thieves.
Police said the infant, along with his uncles and grandfather, pelted the officers and some local gas employees with stones. The team had arrived to sever gas connections to homes that had not paid their gas bills.
The family said they were protesting the electricity shortage.
The baby was given bail and the case has been adjourned until April 12.
