A victim from a third shooting in Indianapolis Tuesday night was driven to IU Health-Methodist Hospital in serious condition Tuesday night.

Officers arrived at the scene at E. 25th Street and Hillside Avenue around 8:40 p.m. on a report that a person had been shot, but could find no crime scene. Upon further investigation, the officers found several shell casings, which were likely fired from a handgun in the area of E. 25th Street and Brouse Avenue.

About 10 minutes later, an unidentified man was driven to Methodist Hospital-IU Health and admitted to the emergency room to be treated for a gunshot wound.

The shooting happened around the same time as two other incidents in Indianapolis. One person is in critical condition after being shot in the 1800 block of Dexter Street, another is in serious condition after a shooting near 38th Street and Post Road on the east side.

There is no confirmed information about possible motives or suspects in the shootings.
