"Back Home Again in Indiana…"

Emmy-nominated journalist Nicole Pence is excited to return home to the Hoosier state! Ms. Pence joined WTHR as the Weekend Sunrise Anchor & Reporter in June 2012. Nicole spent the last few years in the South at LEX-18 in Lexington, Kentucky as the Co-Anchor of LEX-18 News at Sunrise. Nicole anchored Kentucky's number one-rated weekday morning show after joining the station in 2008. Nicole began her television career at Indiana's NewsCenter (NBC/ABC) in Fort Wayne as a general assignment reporter.

Nicole grew up in Columbus, Indiana.  She graduated Cum Laude from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana with a double major in Communication Arts & Sciences and Spanish and a minor in Political Science. She is currently working on her graduate degree in Public Affairs (MPA) at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

In her spare time, Nicole loves to travel.  She lived with a family in Segovia, Spain, studied cooking in Italy, climbed the Great Wall in Beijing, China, toured the Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt, hiked to the top of the Acropolis in Greece, and most recently, tango danced in Argentina!

Nicole is very excited to reconnect with Hoosiers across the state. Feel free to email her directly here and check out her Facebook & Twitter pages here:
