WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WTHR) - Students at Purdue University will have some new housing options starting this fall.

Aspire at Discovery Park is set to open this August.

The $86 million community will be the first on Purdue's campus to feature "tech-centric" living with a smart home experience.

That means students can control apartment lighting, locks, and thermostats, all from an app.

There will be studio, two bedroom and four bedroom apartments.
