An Indiana teen is facing charges after police say he plowed into a Florida sheriff's deputy with his car.

It happened Thursday night in a nightclub parking lot in Panama City.

19-year-old Braeshawn Boyd of New Albany was arrested for aggravated battery and assault on an officer, among other things.

Investigators say the deputy approached the teen's car after spotting a suspected drug deal taking place. But he sped off, hitting the officer who rolled up and off the vehicle's hood.

Investigators say the teen also crashed into two patrol cars during a chase, injuring another deputy. Both of those officers have since been released from the hospital.
