Murdered convenience store clerk's organs donated, at least 3 saved already

The 45-year-old gas station worker who was shot during a robbery and later died, will live on.

The organs of Harry Briggs have been donated. Already, three recipients have been identified, including two Hoosiers. A 56-year-old man will get his heart, a 65-year-old woman will receive his liver and one of his kidneys will go to a 47-year-old Nevada man.

Briggs was shot last Wednesday at a convenience store on Troy Avenue.

Police are still looking for the suspect who was seen skipping away after the shooting.
