Muncie kindergartner brings gun to school
In Muncie, a kindergartner faces expulsion for bringing part of a semi-automatic handgun to school.
The teacher learned of the situation through another student at Grissom Memorial Elementary.
Police tell Eyewitness News the boy's mother had disassembled the gun and thrown it in the trash. That's where the boy found part of it and took it to school.
According to the Star Press in Muncie, the boy faces up to a year expulsion, but the superintendent could reduce that.
