We start the work week with highs in the mid-80s today and only a chance for an isolated thunderstorm. Overall, we will have a great day at the Indiana State Fair and for classes to resume in many school districts.

The average high for this time of year is 84 degrees.  Temperatures will be running near normal for most of the work week.  Humidity will be on the rise, but not oppressive.

A cold front will enter northern Indiana Tuesday, and bring a chance of scattered storms.  A few more storms will be possible on Wednesday as well, but it looks like Thursday on through the weekend will be mostly dry.

Severe storms bring tennis ball-size hail, damaging winds, flooding, and a small tornado to Central Indiana.
