Retailers announce summer sales

Amazon's Prime Day is set for June 21 and June 22. Target Deal Days will be online only on June 20-22. Walmart's Deals for Days will be available both in store and online June 20-23. The companies are boasting Black Friday-like sales.

Stores announce Thanksgiving closure

You won't be able to shop at Walmart or Target on Thanksgiving Day this year.
Both stores say they'll be closed as a thank you to their employees.

Produce coming to more dollar stores

Dollar store chains are starting to offer fresh groceries at more stores.

Family Dollar has started selling certain fruits and vegetables and frozen meats at around 100 of its 7,000-plus stores

Dollar General offers produce at more than 1,300 locations and said last week that it plans to add produce departments to 1,000 additional stores in 2021.

Fisher-Price announces recalls

Fisher Price is recalling its 4 in 1 Rock 'n Glide Soothers after four infant deaths.

Infants placed unrestrained in the product and later found on their stomach are at risk of suffocation, the company said.

The 2-in-1 Sooth 'n Play Gliders are also being recalled.
