Former Governor Mitch Daniels is the latest high-profile participant in the "Ice Bucket Challenge."

The Purdue president took part in the challenge Thursday, with the "All-American" Marching Band on the school's West Lafayette campus.

After being dunked alongside drum majors from the band, Daniels said in addition to the donation he and his wife, Cheri, were making to ALS research, the couple would donate $100 for ever meteorologist in Lafayette and Indianapolis who took the challenge.

"I've been getting wet thanks to you for a long, long time and it's my time to get you wet, thanks to us," Daniels said.

Get the checkbook out, Mr. Daniels, the SkyTrak Weather team is way ahead of you.
