Michael Jackson: judge cracking down on juror excuses
Jury selection continues today in a case in which Michael Jackson's mom is suing concert promoter AEG. And it appears Los Angeles residents aren't crazy about the idea of sitting in on this trial.
Yesterday, the judge got a batch of last-minute notes from potential jurors, asking to be let off the case. And now the judge says she won't accept any more excuses from would-be jurors who hadn't come forward with them before.
She has ordered lawyers to start individual questioning in an effort to seat a jury.
Katherine Jackson is suing AEG for the singer's death - claiming the company hired and was to supervise the doctor who gave her son a fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol.
