Big hit, but no fine.

Colts Punter Pat McAfee learned Friday the NFL will not penalize him for his jarring hit Sunday night against Broncos return man Trindon Holliday.

McAfee slammed Holliday out of bounds near the Broncos sideline in what looked like a helmet-to-helmet hit.

McAfee spoke about the possibility of being fined but learned Friday the NFL ruled the hit legal.

The 5-2 Colts have a bye this week and Coach Chuck Pagano gave the players the week off.

They are back in action Sunday, November 3 on NBC for a Sunday Night Football showdown with divisional rival Texas in Houston.
